Safe & Sound Styptic Pencil

Styptic pencils are used to quickly seal small cuts and nicks, especially those caused during wet shaving. The aluminium sulphate ingredient works to contract the tissue around the cut and seals the injured blood vessels, instantly stopping any bleeding.

You can apply Safe and Sound Health’s Styptic Pencil directly to small cuts to stop bleeding instantly. Styptic pencils are commonly used to treat and stop bleeding from shaving cuts, but they are also useful for calming skin irritation after an insect bite or sting.

Application:

Before treating any open wound, ensure you have thoroughly washed your hands with soap and water, or antibacterial hand gel

1. Wet the tip of the styptic pencil (necessary for it to work correctly)
2. Press tip of the styptic pencil directly onto your shaving cut or insect bite
3. Hold for 5 seconds, or until bleeding stops
4. If bleeding doesn’t stop, repeat
