Canesten Thrush Combi

Canesten Combi pessary and cream are a combination of treatments designed to relieve the symptoms of thrush while tackling the cause of infection. It is ideal for women who have had a previous thrush diagnosis, and are suffering from itching, redness, swelling, or irritation caused by vaginal thrush.

Vaginal thrush is a yeast infection which almost every woman will suffer with at one point in their lives. It happens when the natural yeast, or fungus, in your vagina is allowed to grow due to a change in your vaginal environment. This causes an infection, which can make you feel itchy, swollen, and irritated in and around your vagina.

Canesten Combi pessary and cream both contain the active ingredient clotrimazole, which is an antifungal agent. This means that clotrimazole works to combat the yeast or fungus which causes vaginal thrush while treating the irritation caused by infection.

Canesten Thrush Combi pack contains:

1 pessary with applicator to treat the cause of vaginal thrush;
1 tube of soothing double strength cream for relief of external itching and soreness.

How to use Canesten Thrush Combi

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Canesten Thrush Combi is suitable for adults between 16-60 years of age who have had a previous thrush diagnosis.

Ages 16 to 60: Wash your hands before and after using the pessary and cream. Insert the pessary into the vagina (preferably at night) using the applicator provided, and apply the cream thinly to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.

CANESTEN THRUSH COMBI IS FOR USE IN AND AROUND THE VAGINA ONLY.

If no improvement is seen after 7 days, consult your doctor.
